Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by six points in the latest Fox News poll out Wednesday, but her lead narrows when third-party candidates are taken into account.

Clinton holds the lead, 48-42, among registered general election voters polled nationally.

Taking into account third-party candidates, Clinton’s lead over Trump shrinks to two points, 41-39, with Libertarian Gary Johnson polling at 9 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein polling at 4 percent.

Clinton led by 10 points, 49-39, in a head-to-head Fox News survey conducted July 31-Aug. 2. Between the two Fox News polls, her lead diminished when third-party candidates were factored in, dropping from nine points in the early August poll to two points currently.

The Fox News poll was conducted over the phone Aug. 28-30 among 1,011 registered voters nationally, and it has a margin of error of three percentage points.

TPM’s PollTracker Average shows Clinton leading Trump, 44.2 to 41.6.
