Clinton Leads By Seven Points In Monmouth Poll Of Wisconsin

Hillary Clinton leads among Wisconsin voters by seven points, according to a new Monmouth University poll of the state.

Clinton comes out ahead of Donald Trump, 47-40, with Libertarian Gary Johnson polling at 6 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein at 1 percent.

When Monmouth last polled the state in August, Clinton led +5, and this week’s poll shows she has increased her lead to +7.

The Monmouth University poll was conducted Oct. 15-18 via live telephone interview among 403 likely Wisconsin voters, and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.9 percent.
