Democrat Hillary Clinton has a 5-point lead over Republican Donald Trump in a new CNN/ORC poll out Tuesday.
Among registered voters, 47 percent say they support Clinton while 42 said they would vote Trump in a general election matchup. The former Secretary of State’s numbers showed a 7-point dip from the poll’s last survey while Trump’s support has held steady.
The voters surveyed also think Clinton is far more likely to win the presidency in November than the New York businessman, with 55 percent saying they think Clinton will win to 38 percent saying they expect a Trump victory.
The CNN/ORC poll of 1001 registered voters was conducted by phone June 16-19 and includes interviews with 891 voters. There is a 3.5 percent margin of error.

The Pivot Begins
What do we need to do to get it up to 25 points? Or 50? Maybe more free air time for Trump.
Only 5 points? Against a racist lying con man? Really?
Shouldn’t Hillary be doing better than 47-42?
And shouldn’t Donald be doing worse?
Single poll. No real context. Electoral College System. Ergo, Meaningless horse race bs.
