Clinton Ahead By Four Points In Ohio General Election Poll

Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by four points in a poll of likely Ohio general election voters released by Monmouth University.

The Democratic candidate came out ahead in the swing state, 43-39, with Libertarian Gary Johnson following at 10 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein with less than 1 percent, according to the poll.

Another Ohio poll released Sunday by CBS/YouGov showed Clinton ahead by six percent, 46-40, with Johnson at 6 percent and Stein at 2 percent.

The Monmouth poll, conducted Aug. 18-21, surveyed 402 likely Ohio general election voters over the phone, with a margin of error of plus or minus 4.9 percent.
