Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) has a 10-point lead over former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire following the first Democratic presidential debate, according to a Franklin Pierce University/Boston Herald poll released Sunday.

Sanders earned 48 percent of New Hampshire voters to Clinton’s 38 percent. Vice President Joe Biden (who has still not declared his candidacy) earned 19 percent.

But 41 percent of those surveyed thought Clinton won CNN’s Democratic debate compared to Sanders’ 34 percent. Clinton is also still overwhelmingly seen as the party’s presumed candidate in the poll at 64 percent.

The poll was conducted among 402 likely Democratic presidential primary voters in New Hampshire from Oct. 14 to 17. The margin of error was plus or minus 4.9 percent.
