MUKILTEO, Washington (AP) — Gunfire disrupted a small gathering at a suburban Seattle home, leaving three people dead and a fourth person injured early Saturday, police said.
A suspect was apprehended three counties away, said Officer Myron Travis of the Mukilteo Police Department.
About 15-20 people were in the home at the time of the shooting, and all have been interviewed by police, Travis said.
“Our community has suffered a great loss tonight,” Mayor Jennifer Gregerson said. “There were many young people who saw and heard things that no one should ever experience.”
Police did not release the names of the victims. The injured person was taken to Harborview Medical Center with unknown injuries.
The shooting happened in the Chennault neighborhood of Mukilteo, a waterfront town of about 20,000 people, 25 miles north of Seattle.
The suspect was apprehended thee counties south in Lewis County.
No motive has been given for the shooting.

Musta been a gun-free zone. We need a law that forces people to carry a gun always, then these type of thing will stop happening. I volunteer South Carolina to be the first stater to try it.
And the wheel of misfortune keeps spinning unabated.
Who knows where the gun will strike next, against whom and why. We only know that it’s out there and it’s coming.
The gun is unbiased, unforgiving and unrepentant. It’s determined, successful and deadly as advertised.
The gun cometh and it’s our lives that it taketh, for no reason other than it can, so it does.
This is insanity!
I keep trying to get my Firearms for Fetuses 501©3 up and going. Let’s see some Ivy League “Doctor” try anything against a Not Yet Born who’s armed and dangerous.

Spell check just doesn’t cut it. TPM needs a copy editor.
Maybe the writer is a Quaker.
