MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — The dental practice of a Minnesota man who killed a well-known lion in Zimbabwe has reopened.
Walter Palmer’s River Bluff Dental said in a tweet Monday that it was beginning to see patients again. The tweet said Palmer wasn’t at the office.
Palmer’s office in suburban Minneapolis had been closed since late July after a barrage of criticism for Palmer over the killing of a protected lion named Cecil. Palmer says he relied on his hunting guides to ensure a legal hunt in Zimbabwe.
An Associated Press reporter saw people going in and out of River Bluff Dental. A security guard posted outside the building Monday declined to answer questions and told the reporter he had to leave.
Palmer has not returned repeated calls for comment.

Won’t matter much. That practice is done. He can put an associate in there but he’s going to be handing over records more than fixing teeth. He’s done.
I was going to say I can’t imagine what kind of person would still see him but today there is a story about confederate flag bearers brandishing guns and being protected by the police, so I guess that is one kind of person who would, no?
Minnesota is “up North” and I don’t think they wave Confederate flags there. But don’t let the fact’s get in your my Northern friend…there has to be a way to blame this mess on Southerners.
agreed, he’ll be permanently closed within the next 6 months.
I doubt that very much. He’s created a niche. For every outraged patient he loses, he can pick up two simpatico wingnuts who will see him because of his FU attitude to nature, laws, liberals, gun control advocates, etc. Hell he will pick up patients without teeth. At the very least he can open a gofundme page like every winger aggrieved by the sentient.
