President Donald Trump had harsh words for Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), saying that her colorful promise to impeach him was “disgraceful” and “dishonored her family.”
“I thought her comments were disgraceful. This is a person that I don’t know. I assume she’s new,” Trump said to reporters assembled in the Rose Garden. “I think she dishonored herself, and I think she dishonored her family….I thought it was highly disrespectful to the United States of America.”
Tlaib was unapologetic Friday morning, penning an op-ed to back up her call for impeachment.
