When a reporter confronted President Trump on Monday over his pledge to donate $1 million to charity if Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) took a DNA test to prove she had Native American ancestry, Trump denied he ever made the commitment.
“I didn’t say that. You better read it again,” Trump said.

He did say it — at a July rally in Montana. “I will give you a million dollars to your favorite charity, paid for by Trump, if you take the test and it shows you’re an Indian.”

Warren reminded Trump of the pledge on Monday morning after releasing the results of her DNA test, urging the President to direct the funds to the National Indigenous Women’s Resource Center.
