President Donald Trump on Tuesday defended his bear hug of Saudi Arabian Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, despite reports that the CIA has concluded MBS ordered the killing of former Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi.
“We’ll see how that all works out,” Trump told reporters while standing near Marine One. “It’s a very complicated situation. It’s a shame. But it is what it is.”
A reporter asked Trump why he was siding with the Saudis over his own intelligence agency.
“Because it’s America first to me,” he responded, before falsely saying that saying that there were “hundreds of billions of dollars in orders” between Saudi Arabia and the United States.

Trump has absolutely no problem with government-sanctioned murder of journalists and other citizens who are political enemies of those in power.
If anything, he’s jealous that he cannot do the same in America.
Trump said that he’s not in it to make money for himself. He has no interest in that. He’s making money for the American people. Translate: we can’t sour this relationship because family led company House of Saud (Saudi Arabia) is doing good deals with the House of Trump (White House). Not only is he monetizing the presidency, he’s treating it like a family business.
He is also monetizing a brutal, horrific, sadomasochistic state murder by the Saudis, that was most likely ordered by Trump’s good friend Mohammad Bin Salman Al Saud.

Do you think Trump would say “It is what it is” if Don Jr. were to be indicted? If one of his grandchildren were to be killed in a synagogue shooting? if Melania were to leave him for the Mar-a-lago pool boy and take all of his money? I just don’t know what would reach this sad excuse for a human being.
