The engaged MSNBC hosts of “Morning Joe” officially tied the knot over the weekend in a private ceremony at the National Archives building in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, Vanity Fair reported.
Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski were wed by Rep. Elijah Cummings (D-MD) and kept the guest list small. No formal invites were sent out and only 14 people were invited via phone calls. A reception was held at a French bistro afterwards.
“We wanted it to be really small and simple and not what you expected from Mika and Joe,” Brzezinski told Vanity Fair on Saturday. “Everything we do is exposed, and everything felt exposed every step of the way, so we want this to be private until it’s over. We wanted to recognize it more quietly and have the people who are most important to us around us. And you know, our show is a cocktail party every morning.”

Dear TPM,
If you’re looking for ways to fill space, you could try reporting the results of the Sunday Night Football game. It’s a more colorful way to put people to sleep…
Does anyone outside the immediate families care?
Ewww.
Probably not but it would be nice to see a journalist put this to bed or make it news:

No. One. Cares.
And “Vanity” Fair is right.
