Mar-a-Lago seems to attract a constellation of shady figures, including Russian real estate investor Sergey Danilochkin, a wanted man who fled his home country after accusations of massive tax fraud.
According to a Tuesday Miami Herald report, Danilochkin filmed the safari-themed party last year, quipping that “the most interesting thing is that we met a lot of people here who speak Russian.”
Also in attendance at the event was Cindy Yang, the founder of a chain of Florida spas, one of which was the site of Patriots owner Robert Kraft’s alleged solicitation bust. Yang frequents Trump’s circles and has posed for a picture with Trump himself.
Danilochkin has a long and unsavory history in both Russia and South Florida. Read it here.
C’mon…is anybody really shocked? The only requirement for admittance to Mar-a-Lago is whether you can write a big enough check. There is no vetting for ‘shadiness’…in fact, that’s encouraged.
Rub-a-dub-da, rub-ba-dub-tug,
3 men in a tub…
Makes Warren G. Harding look like Barack Obama.
As is often said in Trump related discussion, “Birds of a feather flock together.”
I Mar-a-Lago were not an architectural treasure, I’d suggest that we simply convert it to a federal pen, and incarcerate all of those who’ve been frequenting it since Trump took over.
