COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) — For killing the source of his frustration and abandoning the body in an alley, a Colorado man could be considered lucky for just receiving a citation — except his victim was his computer.

The Colorado Springs Gazette reports (http://bit.ly/1Fc4rNX ) that 37-year-old Lucas Hinch was slapped with a ticket for discharging a weapon within city limits after he took his computer outside and shot it eight times.

Colorado Springs police Lt. Jeff Strossner, who issued the citation, says Hinch told him he had been fighting his computer for months before he decided to exact his revenge. Hinch accepted his citation without problem and told Strossner he did not realize he was breaking the law.

The penalty for the citation will be up to a judge.

Right on! But it was wrong to use a gun. Guns are never the proper solution to any problem. Next time, use a full-size sledge. It’s been my experience that the euphoria lasts longer with a good workout. (You might look into the Mac as an ongoing alternative.)

  2. This guy should not be allowed to own guns. Has anger issues and can’t control his impulses.

Next, shooting the woman stupid enough to live with him.

  3. I have long considered the Mac to be an alternative to a computer.

  4. Haven’t we all wanted to do that?
