WASHINGTON (AP) — “America’s Got Talent” star Jackie Evancho will sing the national anthem at Donald Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20.
The 16-year-old Evancho said Wednesday on NBC’s “Today,” ”I’m so excited. It’s going to be awesome.”
Trump’s communications director for the inaugural committee confirmed the booking on Twitter, calling Evancho “an inspiration for all Americans.”
Evancho is a Pittsburgh native and a soprano who has performed in Washington before. She has performed at the Independence Day concert “A Capitol Fourth” along with the lighting of the national Christmas tree and the National Prayer Breakfast.
In 2010, she was the runner-up on NBC’s “America’s Got Talent.”

So a reality TV star (Trump on Apprentice) will be president, a reality TV star (Perry on Dancing with the Stars) will head the energy department, and a reality TV star (this one) will sing the national anthem.
Sheesh.
Who or what is a Jackie Evancho? Don is getting all the big names, I see.
She is 16 … bless her heart
“O say can you see” … your career end before it even begins?
That’s the stank of taint that’ll never wash off. Have a great life, Jackie. Oh, and the USA Freedom Kids wish you well.
