Polls and the people who run them and make us jittery in the process are part of the huge industry which makes a ton of money polling, forecasting, “framing”, “pushing back”, and we know their names because they dominate cable all year. They reach peak frenzy a year or so before any election. It’s not healthy for mind or body.
