Despite President Donald Trump’s denials, a new tape obtained by CBS News seems to back up former White House aide Omarosa Manigault Newman’s claims that there is a recording of Trump using the N-word.
In the recording, Manigault Newman, then-assistant to Eric Trump Lynne Patton, spokesperson Katrina Pierson and campaign communications director Jason Miller brainstorm about how to mitigate the fallout.
“I am trying to find at least what context it was used in to help us maybe try to figure out a way to spin it,” Pierson says, per CBS.
Later, she says explicitly: “No, he said it. He is embarrassed by it.”
CBS has not yet confirmed the authenticity of the audio.
Pierson said Sunday on Fox News that the call never took place, adding that Manigault Newman “sounds like she is writing a script for a movie.”
All the best words…
It’s springtime for Pierson, time to don the bullet necklace
Oops.
Lordy, I guess there are tapes.
She is making this claim after the release of the tape…she’s suggesting it’s a fraud. As will they all. ETTD.
