FORT DRUM, N.Y. (AP) — U.S. Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand says she is ruling out a run for president in 2020 because she’s “focused entirely” on running for re-election next year.

The New York Democrat told cable’s Spectrum News (http://bit.ly/2pQayad ) during an event Monday at Fort Drum in northern New York that she’s “dedicated to serving our state as our senator” and is running for re-election in 2018.

When asked if she’s ruling out seeking the Democratic nomination for president in 2020, Gillibrand replied: “I’m focused entirely on running for Senate, so yes, I’m ruling it out.”

Gillibrand replaced Hillary Clinton in the Senate in 2009 and easily won re-election in 2012 by defeating Republican Wendy Long. Gillibrand has been regarded in recent years as a potential presidential candidate.

  1. It is very likely that the vast majority of New York’s 19 million population is proud of Kirsten Gillibrand. She is a very classy woman who would make any constituent proud. If an ambassador represents his country abroad, Kirsten Gillibrand represents New Yorkers in Washington, D.C. And through her numerous media appearances, the entire nation has come to know her. She surely gives an awesome impression of New York to those outside New York. She makes New York look good. She makes New York look awesome. The entire nation must think that every New York woman is this hot. And that every New York woman is this classy.

And if elections were fair, she would be our next President. She will get the votes of women. And she will get the votes of men. She has surely done more than enough for women and their very specific issues to secure their vote. And she has delighted men with her austere beauty. In their imagination she has taken them to the heights of ecstasy. Again and again she is the woman whom they have focused upon as they sought to relieve the tension.

She has surely secured the votes of men.

But these are not fair elections. The Establishment decides who becomes President. Trump became President with probably around 10% of the vote. Hillary was robbed. The Establishment hates Hillary and so it was okay for the Establishment to make her run for President and then to rob her. Kirsten Gillibrand, on the other hand, is well-liked by the Establishment so it will never do to her what it did to Hillary. Hillary is a thoroughly decent woman, but she was painted as evil. It was the only way to make the outcome of the election seem reasonable. But Hillary still won with an overwhelming majority. The people are not as stupid as the Establishment thinks.

Kirsten Gillibrand is the darling of the Establishment so it will never allow her to experience the suffering that Hillary experienced. But the Establishment has decided that Trump will be in DC for two terms.

So Kirsten Gillibrand will not be running in 2020. Not because she doesn’t want to be President: She is an intensely driven blonde. She is not running because the Establishment is shielding Kirsten from the agony of defeat. Whether she is a candidate in 2024 remains to be seen. But the Establishment must first get the green light from its more Orthodox members before a Gentile woman can become a Princess.

  2. I’m unwilling to propose a massive conspiracy theory for this.

I suspect/hope she doesn’t want screw up her Senate re-election by announcing she only wants the job for two years. After the midterms, we can start lining up 2020 candidates.
