PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — One of the top art schools in the U.S. is investigating after anti-Semitic graffiti made out of human waste was found in a gender-neutral bathroom.
WJAR-TV reports (http://bit.ly/2lQZ5oI ) that the Rhode Island School of Design told students the swastika was discovered over the weekend in a dormitory bathroom.
The college, known as RISD (RIZ’-dee), says in a statement that the level of “disrespect and vitriol is completely unacceptable.” Public safety officials are investigating it as an act of vandalism and a hate crime.
The school says it has met with students on the dorm floor and has encouraged those with information to come forward.

Seems like there’s a divide between the Gorsuch College Republicans who think white supremacy and homo/transphobia are just a lark, and the ones who really mean it. The Nazis railed against what they termed “cultural Marxism” and decadent liberalism. They demonized degenerate art and science and moral decay, just like Putin does when he defends traditional values and rails against gay rights.
As some one who worked retail for many years I’ve had to clean shit art off walls and floors many times. I’m sure there is a name for someone’s proclivity to make a mess or art with their shit. If it’s only one time then I wouldn’t call it hate speech, but if it happens more than once then yes.
Isn’t smearing your own feces on the wall a sign of serious psychological issues? Whatever the case this incident says a lot more about the person who did it than it does anything else. I wonder if they can get fingerprints?
