Joe diGenova, the attorney who almost worked for President Donald Trump, had it not been for conflicts of interest, told Tucker Carlson on Thursday evening that the Democrats were trying to “revolt against the Constitution” and called Christine Blasey Ford “an injured adolescent.”
“I think what the Democrats are engaged in is something that we call the big lie,” he said when asked if the FBI and the White House were in “secret collusion.” “And what they’ve done is they’ve associated themselves with anarchy and they are now in full revolt against the Constitution of the United States, the union, and the rule of law. What you are hearing are the cries of an injured child, not unlike those of Ms. Ford when she testified before the committee as an injured adolescent.”

diGenova has been critical of Blasey Ford, who has testified that Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in high school, for weeks, calling her everything from a “loon” to a “very, very disturbed woman” who has “clear emotional and psychological problems.”
Trump took a page from diGenova’s book earlier this week when he opted to mock Blasey Ford during a campaign rally for not remembering portions of the evening in question.
