Cindy McCain, the widow of Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), said in an interview published Wednesday that she might never get over President Donald Trump saying that her late husband was only a war hero because he was captured and imprisoned during the Vietnam War.
“I don’t know if I’ll ever get over it, I’ll be honest,” McCain told the BBC’s Yalda Hakim. “But I’m the wife, that’s my prerogative. I don’t have to.”
In 2015, as a presidential candidate, Trump said of McCain: “He’s a war hero because he was captured. I like people who weren’t captured.”
“I thought it was inappropriate and wrong, I really did,” Cindy McCain told the BBC. “It hurt the family, too. And he hurt the other men that served with John that were in prison, as well, it wasn’t just about John. It was all the other people.”
Asked if Trump would have her vote were the next presidential election to be held today, McCain said: “I really can’t answer that.”
“I’d like to see some softening of the rhetoric,” she said. “It’s hurtful.”

You can give the boat a little shimmy but if you rock it you will be tweeted into obscurity
And, imho, a well-deserved “obscurity” at that.
You mean to tell me there’s some chance you’d vote for this piece of shit? WTF? What do you stand for?
