Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT) finally plans to release ten years of tax returns before Monday, acknowledging that they will show he is a millionaire.

“I wrote a bestselling book,” he told the New York Times. “If you write a bestselling book, you can be a millionaire too.”

Sanders’ hesitancy to release his returns, especially as many of the other candidates have been transparent, has prompted some Trumpian comparisons.

    Which Monday?

acknowledging that they will show he is a millionaire.

If that’s all they show, then let Trump attack him.

  2. Just retire already, “Bernie”. You are, again, screwing up this race. You aren’t even a Democrat. Go away.

If he became a millionaire by writing a best-selling book,it must’ve been the publisher’s advance that put him over-the-top. I know several successful published authors. They all say that the profit margin per book sold is not that much. The first sale of a new release creates the used book market too.

  4. And, the key returns are not from anywhere in the past 5 years. See 2006-07 and where his wife’s money came from (per @ericgarland)

Or is that what you call ill-gotten gains?
