NEW YORK (AP) — Sen. Bernie Sanders is planning his next move.

At least on paper.

The Vermont independent and 2016 presidential contender is working on a new book. The publisher tells The Associated Press in a Wednesday statement that “Where We Go From Here” will be released Nov. 13 by Thomas Dunne Books.

Sanders will focus on how to oppose to President Trump and how to “strengthen the progressive movement.” Sanders’ previous book, “Our Revolution,” told of his 2016 campaign.

His surprisingly strong run against Hillary Rodham Clinton in the Democratic primaries made him a national figure and favorite among progressives. He is often mentioned as a possible candidate for 2020.

Thomas Dunne Books is an imprint of St. Martin’s Press.

    Terrible timing.

  2. I hope he has faced and will include discussion on Russian pro-Bernie/anti-Hillary interference in the election. It’s not hard to understand that playbook: 1) take Hillary down, give Bernie the candidacy, 2) take Bernie down – easily. Research number of negative stories about Hillary and you see it’s an orchestrated lionshare. Research negatives about Sanders and you come up short. Still.
Bernie: the perfect stranger, the greener grass, the form to hold the projection of whatever the heart desires.
The trolls are still in place, as we’ve seen again this week.
Divided we fell. Divided again, we will fall again.

  3. Away. That’s where you should go, Bernie. Because you promised to do “everything in your power” and then … you didn’t.

  4. To be fair, the election is Nov 6th, so I applaud his publisher for waiting that long rather than doing it before and f—ing with the electoral process.

  5. The cover illustration:
