ROCKFORD, Ill. (AP) — A coroner says autopsies are planned for four people, including two young children, fatally shot in the northern Illinois community of Rockford.
Police say a mother, her boyfriend and her two boys were found dead in a red-brick duplex late Saturday. Smith.
The Winnebago County coroner says autopsies will take place Monday.
Assistant Deputy Chief Patrick Hoey says neighbors reported hearing pounding on a door and someone forcing the door open before gunshots rang out.

Family gathered at Flint’s grandmother’s house Sunday. They remembered her as a devoted mother and Rhodes as a good boyfriend.
