During an interview with “60 Minutes,” freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) apologized to Donald Trump Jr. if he felt “threatened” over her Twitter joke about her upcoming subpoenaing power.
“Well, if he felt genuinely threatened by me, I apologize,” she said, when asked if the tweet was an overreach of her power. “But I think that frankly, it’s legal advice that any person would give him.”

I have noticed that Junior here has a habit of posting nonsense about me whenever the Mueller investigation heats up.
Please, keep it coming Jr – it’s definitely a “very, very large brain” idea to troll a member of a body that will have subpoena power in a month.
Have fun! https://t.co/oQ6MsdJYCk

Donald Jr will not leave that unanswered… Kimberley, too…
I am not worthy! (bows repeatedly)
Junior, and other like-(simple)minded individuals should think seriously before getting into a twitter fight or any other kind of verbal skirmish with AOC.
And right wing media will pretend that she never apologized. They’ll just scream about the “unprecedented threats” and “viciousness” from AOC. They’ll also suggest that as a woman, she’s too emotional and too prone to respond to responsible criticism with a tweet. And not a one will see the irony.
We’ll see incoming Dems temper their hubris and provocative statements. Being unnecessarily antagonistic and courting controversy isn’t needed when you’re in the majority. Be the glacier, not the snow storm.
Winners spend about 5 minutes admiring their trophy and then realize there’s another season to prepare for.
