Some of the women of the House Democrats banded together Tuesday, opting to wear white on the day of President Donald Trump’s speech to a joint session of Congress in honor of the suffragette movement.

The congresswomen posted photos of their political fashion statements on Twitter with the hashtag #womenwearwhite. The hashtag was previously used during the November 2016 election, when many women wore white to the polls in honor of the movement.
