President Donald Trump reflected on his first weeks in office Thursday, telling reporters aboard Air Force on that “I think we’ve had one of the most successful 13 weeks in the history of the presidency,” according to a pool report.
He seems to have miscounted: The presidential inauguration took place on Friday, Jan. 20. Friday, April 7 will mark the end of Trump’s 11th week in office.
According to the pool report, Trump cited job creation, his much-publicized negotiations on the price of airplanes and the “vast” amount of military equipment that has been ordered during his presidency as evidence of his administration’s success.
Trump is in Florida for a summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping at his Mar-a-Lago resort.
Trump also told reporters, according to the pool report, that “I don’t want to say what I’m going to be doing with respect to Syria.”
GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Runs from room screaming like a madman
If that doesn’t finish the Onion once and for all …
If that’s success, I wish him all the success we can stand.
Well I suppose on Planet Trump it was the most successful.
Is that because he knows criminal charges are coming in a few weeks?
It’s certainly in the top 45.
