The Donald Trump campaign continued to blast Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” comment on Monday morning, releasing a new ad framed around Clinton’s remark that the campaign says it will be airing on television.

In the 30-second spot titled “Deplorable,” a narrator says that Clinton told “wealthy donors” that “tens of millions of Americans” are “deplorable.”

“You know what’s deplorable?” the narrator asks. “Hillary Clinton viciously demonizing hard working people like you.”

The ad is a response to remarks Clinton made at a Friday fundraiser, where she said that “half of Trump supporters” can be put in the “basket of deplorables.”

“Racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic, you name it,” Clinton said, describing the term.

Following outrage from the Trump campaign, Clinton softened her comment, saying that she regrets saying that “half” of the Republican nominee’s supporters are part of the “basket of deplorables.” But the Trump campaign has continued to target Clinton’s comment.

The ad will air in Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Florida, according to the Trump campaign.
