You might wonder what kind of “The Late Show” comedian Stephen Colbert is planning to host when he takes over the CBS gig Sept. 8.
Colbert, on the cover of a September issue of “Time,” seemed serious.
His face is expressionless and he’s without his signature glasses. The photograph was shot in black and white, adding to the mystique of it all.
But Colbert doesn’t seem to be turning “The Late Show” into a crime drama. He tweeted the magazine’s cover and poked fun at his somber pose and complimented the photographer.

Platon is a great photographer. An honor to work with this artist, and #ISwearItsAComedyShow. pic.twitter.com/0H2BGjUvTX

Time mag has a history of these rather strange, distorted cover photos. I think they once even managed to make George W. Bush look not dumb.
Yeah, no. I don’t like this photo at all. I’ve always found Colbert to be quite attractive, sexy even, and attractive is not how I’d describe him in this pic. Certainly not sexy.
Reminds me of this:
Different photographer though.
It seems Stephen will get to play a Trump card…
Yeah, this pic does him no credit. You’re right, he’s a sexy, attractive guy, plus funny and intelligent and completely irreverent and I’d gladly bear his children…oops. TMI?
