Hillary Clinton is planning to be more spontaneous and authentic on the campaign trail, as Stephen Colbert pointed out on Friday night’s “The Late Show With Stephen Colbert,” planning spontaneity doesn’t really work.
“Well first, for the heart, her aides have to make sure she stops and smell the roses from 9:30 to 9:32. Sniff, sniff, Madam Secretary,” Colbert said while holding out a red rose. “And now we’re late! Damn it! Come on, the donors are waiting.”
The plan to up Clinton’s authenticity and spontaneity is exact enough that it includes ditching the phrase “everyday Americans.”
“You know who doesn’t saw everyday Americans? Everyday Americans. They know they have to be here every day,” Colbert said.

I believe that is a record.
Indeed, I do believe most Americans do not “saw” other Americans, murderers disposing of bodies might be an exception. I like to think they are in the minority.
Run-on sentence.
Colbert’s all in for Joe as anyone who saw the interview will know. But I liked what he said on the matter of hats candidates should wear, similar to Trump’s hat slogan. He suggested Jim Gilmore former R governor of VA whom no one knows should wear a hat that says “I Am Jim Gilmore.”
Sorry, I wrote it spontaneously…
