Celebrity tycoon Donald Trump is finally facing policy questions and Stephen Colbert has a new slogan for the Republican presidential candidate on Monday’s “Late Show” on CBS.
“The Republican frontrunner is now running fronter than ever before. Nothing seems to stop this man despite the fact that he’s facing some tough questions like this one from upcoming CNN debate moderator Hugh Hewitt,” Colbert said. “That is a core campaign promise. Trump: Ready on Day One…. To Prepare For Day Two.”
Trump said he’s prepared to be commander in chief of the U.S. military after attending a military-themed boarding school. And Colbert can relate.
“Yes, same reason I feel I was NASCAR driver because as a kid I had a racecar bed,” Colbert said.

I’d almost like to see Trump elected to see how how fast he gets impeached.

Trump’s lack of qualifications is a uuuuuuge deal, but don’t worry he will hire somebody really, really good to run the country.
Will Fiorina remind him that, while she may have been fired from HP, she never bankrupted it?
If Trump is measured by any standard of truth, he’s been a failure in ways that no other candidate could even survive and still remain a viable candidate. Trump’s a second-class billionaire to the wealthy fellows he has used just as conveniently as immigrants, Trump knows who to trash when he wants a visceral response from the xenos he’s tapped already.
But, since Trump has so opportunistically tweaked the xenophobe base, by coming right out of the gate full of hate, the media is quite willing to ride the ratings wave that his open bigotry and xenophobic vitriol has generated. They will tolerate his CEO bashing because of it, too. That is, until the REAL POWER BILLIONAIRES step in and cut him off at the xeno knees.
But that won’t happen soon…As long as Trump keeps the Citizens United madness machine broiling on high heat, the oldstream media will suck it up shamelessly and use it to exact even more easy ad revenue from the rest of the billionaires and CEO’s who have no intention of being used conveniently like some common wetback for Trump’s egomaniacal trashing of their tried-and-true process.
And it has only just begun.
