The Republican National Committee asked a mail vendor to immediately hold off on completing or sending out any projects they were working on for the so-called “Victory” program in support of Donald Trump, according to a report from Politico Saturday.

The Victory project is a joint fundraising venture between the RNC and the Trump campaign intended to help boost Trump at the top of the ticket.

In an email obtained by Politico, between an RNC strategist and a direct mail vendor, the RNC staffer asks the vendor to “please put a hold/stop on all mail projects right now. If something is in production or print it needs to stop. Will update you when to proceed.”

The email was sent as Republican lawmakers reject the nominee and pressure is mounting for Trump to step aside.

A reporter from NBC News said that the project was still going to move forward, but that rich donors were furious with Trump and the RNC was taking some time to figure out the best next step.
