Protestors interrupted Donald Trump’s Friday remarks in Erie, Pennsylvania, by holding up signs to pressure the GOP nominee to release his tax returns.
Hillary Clinton released her own 2015 tax returns earlier Friday, posing an implicit challenge for Trump to follow suit.
For months, Trump has insisted that he cannot release his own tax returns, citing an ongoing audit as the cause for the delay. The IRS, for its part, has said that an audit would not prevent Trump from releasing the forms.
“Go home to Mommy,” he jeered at a second interruption. “And your mother is voting for Trump! It’s true!”
