The Commission on Presidential Debates announced the list of moderators for the 2016 presidential and vice presidential debates on Friday.
The moderators include NBC News’ Lester Holt, ABC News’ Martha Raddatz, CNN’s Anderson Cooper, Fox News’ Chris Wallace and CBS News’ Elaine Quijano.

In a news release, co-chairs Frank J. Fahrenkopf, Jr. and Michael D. McCurry said that the debate format will be based on the 2012 debates, focusing larger blocks of time on “major domestic and foreign topics.”
Before he agrees, Trump has to know whether it will be Martha Raddatz’s “time of the month”.
I was really pulling for Katrina Pierson and Omarosa, just to keep things interesting…
I’m disappointed. I threw my name into that hat – but I think they discovered some of my postings here on TPM. They said I was too neutral.
He’s not going to be happy to see Anderson “argument of a 5-year-old” Cooper on the list. Man, was that perfect.
Both Marth Raddatz and Anderson Cooper can be pretty good at holding them to answering the question … when they want to. I’m guessing they’ll both be wanting to do a great job this go-round – not let either (but especially HO) obfuscate or blow smoke.
