President Obama ate salmon that had already been partially eaten by a bear while filming an episode of “Running Wild with Bear Grylls” during his recent Alaska trip.
In a short preview of the episode aired on NBC’s “Today” on Tuesday morning, Obama did not seem too dismayed that Grylls had chosen salmon for their meal.
“Bear’s a mediocre cook, but the fact that we ate something recognizable was encouraging,” Obama said, adding that he would have liked “a cracker to go with it.”
