Obama Nominates Actor Kal Penn To Arts And Humanities Committee

President Obama on Monday announced the nomination of eight individuals to administration posts in a White House press release, including actor Kal Penn.

Obama nominated Linda Thomas-Greenfield to be a member of the Board of Directors of the African Development Foundation, Edith Ramirez to be a member of the Council of the Administrative Conference and Geovette Washington to be a member of the Council of the Administrative Conference

He nominated Janet Keller, Kerry Marshall, Kal Penn Modi, Andrew Weinstein and John Young to be members of the President’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities.

“These fine public servants bring both a depth of experience and tremendous dedication to their new roles,” Obama said in a press release. “Our nation will be well-served by these men and women, and I look forward to working with them in the months and years to come.”
