South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R), who recently karate-chopped her way to an honorary black belt, added a new pistol to her arsenal this Christmas.
“Our family had a wonderful Christmas together!” Haley wrote Thursday in a tweet. “I must have been good Santa gave me a Beretta PX4 Storm.”
The manufacturer’s website lists the Beretta pistol at a price of $575.
Haley has a concealed weapons permit, according to the Associated Press. A spokesperson confirmed to the AP that the pistol was a gift from the governor’s husband.
