Top Donald Trump aide Paul Manafort says the GOP nominee has a special appeal for women whose “husbands can’t afford paying for the family bills.”
In a Thursday interview at the Republican National Convention, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews asked Manafort how he planned to keep the Trump campaign’s strategy of intensely criticizing Hillary Clinton from alienating women.
“It depends on which women you’re talking about,” Manafort said. “Many women in this country feel they can’t afford their lives. Their husbands can’t afford paying for the family bills.”
“You said women are concerned about their husbands’ income?” Matthews pressed.
Manafort grinned. “I can speak personally to that,” he replied.

Please proceed, Manafort.
Isn’t that convention currently running on IOU’s?
This Paul Manafort guy is the biggest, most unbelievable bullshtter I ever heard. Any seventh grader in the school I used to teach in could bullsht better than this lying numbskull.
How many lies has he been caught in this week?
Just keep talking, Paul. We women really love being defined by our spouses’ status. Before long, your candidate will be polling at 0% with female voters - like it is for black voters in some critical states.
