Stewart addressed high-profile criticism on his Israel-Gaza segments, most notably from The Times of Israel and conservative radio host Mark Levin, by having his team of correspondents scream over him on Monday's show. For the mere mention of Israel, one called Stewart a "self-hating Jew."
"Look, obviously there are many strong opinions on this issue," Stewart said. "But just merely mentioning Israel or questioning in any way the effectiveness or humanity of Israel's policies is not the same thing as being pro-Hamas."
The correspondents branded him a "zionist pig" for that comment, proving Stewart couldn't win either way,
"You know what, f*ck it," Stewart said. "Why don't we just talk about something lighter, like Ukraine?"
