Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) threw a rhetorical elbow at Donald Trump Wednesday during his address to the Democratic National Convention, reminding voters that the Democrats weren’t inviting cyber attacks on the nation.

“Democrats know we win with an economy that works for everybody, with a strong and smart national security that aligns with our allies and does not invite a cyber attack on our country,” he said.

The Senate minority leader’s comments come after Trump told The New York Times that he wouldn’t necessarily help NATO allies if they were attacked by Russia. The GOP nominee also said earlier Wednesday in a press conference that Russia should release Hillary Clinton’s “missing” emails if it has them, later clarifying that Russia should release those emails straight to the FBI.

  1. I was wondering if Trump’s encouragement of espionage would make it to the convention tonight, and happened to see Harry make this comment on MSNBC about 7 pm. It went over like a lead balloon. Of course, Harry is not exactly an electrifying speaker, and one wonders if the delegates heard the news yet.

I assume there will be repeat performances by other speakers.

  2. Comrade tRumpf is a security risk and should under no circumstances should he be getting security briefings.

    The buffoon is textbook ADD.

  3. Well thank you again gop for not taking trump seriously in the primary. Now he’s a threat to us all and yet again it is left up to the dems to clean up the mess you created
