Ginger White revealed several new details about her alleged affair with GOP candidate Herman Cain to ABC News’ George Stephanopolous on Wednesday morning.
White said that she had contact with Cain through the first two weeks of November and confirmed additional details about the relationship, telling Stephanopoulous that she “received gifts and money” from Cain for the past two and a half years. The pair also went on trips together, attending the infamous Tyson Holyfield bout in Las Vegas together, for example.
White made clear that she didn’t carry on this relationship for the money. “This was not sex for cash…. It was a very casual affair, ” she said. “Am I proud to admit to that? No, I’m not.”
The Atlanta businesswoman also said that she doesn’t believe Cain would make a good president, before insisting that she didn’t come forward for political reasons.
“I honestly do not think that he, in my opinion, would make a good president,” she said. “Our — my views are different than his. But at the end of the day, this is not political. This is absolutely not political.”
