In response to Trump's recent derogatory comments about Mexican immigrants, Graham says his rival is a "wrecking ball" for the future of the GOP with Hispanic voters, and is calling on the party to push back. After Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) forcefully came out against Donald Trump as the GOP’s presidential nominee Friday, the billionaire said in an insult-riddled statement that he understands why Graham is still sore over the 2016 race.

“If I got beaten as badly as I beat him, and all the other candidates he endorsed, I would not be able to give my support either,” he said in the statement.

Trump went on the call Graham a “poor representative” and “embarrassment” to the people of South Carolina.

Graham said Friday he could not “in good conscience support Donald Trump because I do not believe he is a reliable Republican conservative nor has he displayed the judgment and temperament to serve as Commander in Chief.”

I fully understand why Lindsey Graham cannot support me. If I got beaten as badly as I beat him, and all the other candidates he endorsed, I would not be able to give my support either. Every time I see Lindsey Graham spew hate during interviews I ask why the media never questions how I single handily destroyed his hapless run for President. As a candidate who did not receive 1% in his own state – compared to my victory at nearly 40% with many others in the race – he has zero credibility. He was a poor representative and an embarrassment to the great people of South Carolina. Judging by the incompetent way he ran his campaign, it is easy to see why his military strategies have failed so badly — we can’t even beat ISIS!

While I will unify the party, Lindsey Graham has shown himself to be beyond rehabilitation. And like the voters who rejected him, so will I!

  1. Glad to see Trump is toning things down a bit, now that he is the Republican’s presumptive nominee.

  2. Senator Graham is not up for reelection until 2020. If the the Orange Man had any sense he might not want to say, “F you” to the people he may need in Congress if, (G)od(s) forbid, he became President.

  3. How long before Drumpf begins retweeting this?

  4. It’s single handedly, not “single handily,” you fucking moron.

  5. If Trump were president, he’d have no use for congress, period. And why not? Congress is only a boat anchor anymore on the great “ship of state”, now a rowboat to hell. After all, Obama and dubya both wage genocidal invasions worldwide and never say a word to Congress and both don’t care what the hell Congress thinks or does, and so can Trump. What’s the difference anyhow? One war criminal is no better than the other, as they say.
