Donald Trump is continuing his renewed birther crusade on Wednesday, using his Twitter feed to again falsely claim that President Obama was born in Kenya.

“In his own words, @BarackObama ‘was born in Kenya, and raised in Indonesia and Hawaii,'” Trump tweeted, referring to a typo on promotional material from Obama’s publisher in the 1991. “This statement was made, in writing, in the 1990’s. Why does the press protect him? Is this another Watergate?”

Mitt Romney, who held a fundraiser with Trump in Las Vegas on Tuesday, has yet to condemn Trump’s behavior, although he has reaffirmed his own belief in the validity of Obama’s birth certificate.
