CLEVELAND — Protesters launched a demonstration Wednesday outside the entrance to the Quicken Loans Arena, the site of the GOP convention.
A little before noon ET, the protesters were carrying an extended cloth painted like a wall that said “Wall Out Trump” in various places. They chanted “Wall off Trump” against Trump’s anti-immigration proposals.

The protest was swarmed with media, as the demonstrators gathered at East 4th Street, where many media outlets are stationed. It was organized by Mi Jente, a group for young Latinos, a protester told TPM.

Courageous protestors, for sure. Stay strong, folks.
Protests are fine but the bottomless depths of incompetence on display inside the convention center is the real action. It’s been the bestest Christmas ever.
I, for one, am sick and tired of all these immigrants coming over here to steal all of our First Lady jobs!
Mi Gente, not Jente. It means “My People.” Unless they are using some creative spelling…
All letters matter.
