The head of the United Fighting Championship joined the party that is the Republican National Convention on Tuesday night to attest that Donald Trump has supported him in his endeavors and will support other businesses to improve the nation’s economy.
Dana White showed all his cards when he took the stage and said that he was not a politician, but a “fight promoter.”
He went on to divulge that when he and his partners purchased the UFC, nobody took him seriously and some thought it was a “bloodsport.” But, he said, he had Trump on his side.
“On top of that, he showed up for the fight on Saturday night and sat in the front row. Yeah. He is that guy that shows up,” White said.
He said Trump had great business instincts and he supports “businesses of all sizes.”
“I have been in the fight business my whole life. I know fighters,” White said. “Ladies and gentlemen, Donald Trump is a fighter, and I know he will fight for this country.”
Well I’m convinced.
