“The Daily Show” has figured out why Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) will not be House Speaker: He’s getting Playboy-ed.
On Tuesday, Playboy announced they will no longer print nude photos because nudity is so readily available online.
“It used to be if you were looking to see pictures of naked ladies, Playboy knew what turned you on,” correspondent Jessica Williams said on Tuesday night. “In the same way that Paul Ryan was the clean-cut conservative boy-next-door who used to excite Republicans, but times have changed.”
The Republican Party has more and more hardliners in Congress and more and more hardline conservatives writing online.
“You got all these sleazy sites offering extreme right positions with the click of the mouse,” Williams told host Trevor Noah. “Tasteful conservatism just ain’t gonna do it for you anymore.”
