“The Daily Show” never forgets: Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump wants to bang his daughter.
“”Donald Trump is absolutely right. It would be awful to disqualify a candidate because of a possible scandal hanging over their head. For instance, lots of people are saying Donald Trump wants to bang his daughter. And I hope it’s not true, but I’ve even seen people saying it on television. And on the Comedy Central app,” Trevor Noah said on Thursday’s episode alongside a photo of his previous coverage of Trump’s comments.
“I mean, if you Google ‘Donald Trump Wants To Bang His Daughter,’ you can watch these videos yourself,” he said.
Noah even proposed a hashtag to talk about Trump’s “possible scandal.”
“It would be a shame if people watched that and started tweeting the hashtag #DonaldTrumpWantsToBangHisDaughter,” Noah continued.

Two only slightly related point: First, while Trevor looks good and sounds good and seems like a nice guy, I’m afraid I don’t find him very funny. Granted Jon Stewart is an impossible act to follow so he has my sympathy, but still…
Second, because of the above I couldn’t watch the whole thing and didn’t get to where he was talking about Trump so maybe he said something along the following lines. But I find it interesting that we’ve heard a lot recently about the psychological study that shows that conservatives allegedly have a higher disgust factor than liberals. Some people (Jonathan Haidt, e.g.) have even used that as part of an argument to make the preposterous claim that conservatives have a more developed or nuanced system of morality than liberals. So it’s striking that Trump and his followers have their disgust factor kick in when the issue is a grown woman going tinkle. But when it comes to envisioning a man openly wanting to fuck his daughter? Apparently, that’s fine–even endearing.
It seems to me that the emotion of disgust like almost everything else in conservative psychology is manifest in completely the wrong circumstances.
