Donald Trump campaign manager Kellyanne Conway on Wednesday morning complained that Republican leaders are being “wishy washy” with their support for the Republican nominee.

During an interview on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” George Stephanopoulos asked Conway how attacking Republicans will help Trump win in November.

“We’ve been playing very nicely with members of the party. The RNC and us have a wonderful relationship,” she replied, noting that Trump raises money for the GOP, which helps down-ballot candidates.

Stephanopoulos then asked about Trump’s conflicting statements about Republican support for his candidacy. On Tuesday morning, he complained in a tweet that lack of support from establishment leaders like House Speaker Paul Ryan (R-WI) could hurt him in November. Then Tuesday night he said he may be better off without some Republicans’ support.

“We want the support of anybody who’s going to publicly endorse us. But enough of the pussyfooting around in terms of, you know, do you support us or do you not support us. And the fact is that some of these leaders have been very wishy-washy,” Conways said in response. “And I think that Paul Ryan has a job to do to keep the majority in Congress, and the new president of the United States will go ahead and be with him to help.”

Then when asked if Trump wants Ryan to remain as speaker, Conway said the decision belonged to members of Congress.
