Conservative news websites reported Wednesday that actor Chuck Norris planned to endorse Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) in the Republican presidential race. But one day after those rumors surfaced, The Blaze reported that Norris backed out of a planned appearance at a Cruz rally.
The Washington Free Beacon, Independent Journal and The Daily Caller had reported that Norris was throwing his support behind Cruz:

The “Walker, Texas Ranger” star, who previously campaigned for Texas Gov. Greg Abbott (R), had been scheduled to appear Saturday at a Cruz rally in North Carolina.
A spokeswoman for a super PAC backing Cruz confirmed Thursday to The Blaze that there had been a miscommunication, noting that Norris “has not officially endorsed any candidate for president” and would not be attending the rally after all.
“We regret that our publicity implied otherwise and apologize to Mr. Norris and our rally participants for the confusion,” Keep The Promise I spokeswoman Kristina Hernandez said.
Figured Norris for a Trump guy. He seems to like fascists.
