In a seething exchange during Sunday’s presidential debate, Hillary Clinton reminded Donald Trump that prominent Republicans were withdrawing their support for him in droves in the wake of leaked video of Trump making predatory comments about women.

As Trump and Clinton went back and forth about Clinton’s use of a private email server as secretary of state, moderator Anderson Cooper asked Trump to stop interrupting Clinton while she was giving a response.

“Please allow her to respond. She didn’t talk while you talked,” Cooper noted.

“Yes, that’s true, I didn’t,” Clinton said.

“Because you have nothing to say,” Trump retorted.

“I didn’t in the first debate, and I’m going to try not to in this debate because I’d like to get to the questions,” Clinton said.

“Then get off this question,” Trump replied.

Clinton paused for a moment and then hit Trump on the weekend-long fallout for his campaign following the leak of a 2005 “Access Hollywood” tape on Friday, in which Trump bragged about groping and kissing women without waiting for their consent.

“Okay, Donald, I know you’re into big diversion tonight, anything to avoid talking about your campaign and the way it’s exploding and the way Republicans are leaving you,” she said.
