New Clinton Ad Says She’s Only Candidate ‘Tough Enough To Stop Trump’ (VIDEO)

Hillary Clinton released a new campaign ad on Monday framing her as the only candidate “tough enough to stop Trump.”

The 30-second TV spot highlights Donald Trump’s past remarks about punishing women for having abortions if the procedure was outlawed, banning Muslim immigrants from the United States and labeling Mexican immigrants “rapists.”

“Donald Trump says we can solve America’s problems by turning against each other,” Clinton says in the ad. “It’s wrong and it goes against everything New York and America stand for.”

The ad, which is expected to air this week in New York City ahead of the Democratic primary on April 19, makes no mention of Clinton’s opponent Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-VT). The size of the buy was not made public, according to CNN.

Clinton is currently leading Sanders in what each claims as their home state by 54 percent to 39.3 percent, according to TPM’s Polltracker Average.

In the Republican field, Trump is out way ahead of his opponents, earning 54 percent of the vote compared to 21.3 percent for Ohio Gov. John Kasich (R) and Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX).

Hopefully she does better with him than she’s been doing with that grumpy white haired Socialist guy.

  2. Bernie is a sweetheart. He’s too much of a ideological purist to get down and dirty.

Give me a Centralist who feels a Socialist uprising among the young in her party breathing down her neck. You’ll end up with a really ballistic liberal candidate clawing away at Ted or Donald’s jugular.
That’s the sort of passion that gets things done in this corrupt conservatively-controlled country.

You want change? She’s the candidate that will accomplish it. I don’t want anymore Pie-in-the-Sky pipe dreams or GOP family values crap. Push Hillary till she cracks her own Centralist glass ceiling and behold what democracy can do when it drops all pretenses of being noble.

I’m putting my money on the fastest, strongest horse with a reason to prove her mettle. Even God evened the playing filed by taking Scalia out of her way. You won’t be able to stop her once she scores some conservative blood.

  3. Speaking of campaign ads…

I saw one this weekend that made me laugh. It attacked Cruz and Trump on some of their extremist positions, then went on endorse Kasich, as the candidate who was stable and Presidential.

Talk about low expectations. If you’re a Republican, pick Kasich, because hey, at least he’s not crazy.
